In gala events around the world, The 24 Hour Musicals combine actors, writers, composers, directors, musical directors, choreographers and a live band to create and perform four original musicals within the span of a single day. For the first time ever, The 24 Hour Musicals come to Los Angeles in a magical event at the historic United Artists Theater at Ace Hotel. 

Scheduled to participate in this year’s event: Wayne Brady (Whose Line Is It Anyway?); Jamie-Lynn Sigler (The Sopranos); Michelle Visage (RuPaul’s Drag Race); Nellie McKay (singer/songwriter); Isabelle Fuhrman (Orphan, The Hunger Games); Janina Gavankar (True Blood); Alicia Witt (The Walking Dead); Retta (Parks and Rec); Amanda Seales (Insecure); Sam Tsui (YouTube); Andrew Leeds (Bones, Groundlings); Deborah Ann Woll (True Blood, Daredevil); Alex Newell (Glee); Ashley Fink (Glee); Herizen Guardiola (The Get Down); Shoshana Bean (Wicked); Garrett Clayton (Hairspray Live!); and more to be announced!

This event supports the Dramatists Legal Defense Fund, a nonprofit arm of the Dramatists Guild of America which advocates for the freedom of expression and advocates on behalf of all who are confronting censorship on stages across America.

The 24 Hour Plays® bring together extraordinary artists to create time-limited theater around the world.
