Pop-Up Magazine is a live magazine—a night of new, true stories about the fascinating world around us. Each issue is different from the last, with photography, film, radio, and original music all mixed together and performed live onstage by a big cast of talented people.

Past contributors include bestselling authors (Michael Pollan, Alice Walker, Susan Orlean), award-winning documentary filmmakers (Ava DuVernay, Alex Gibney, Barry Jenkins), prominent radio and podcast producers (Ira Glass, Jad Abumrad, Kelly McEvers), renowned photographers (Larry Sultan, Alec Soth, Katy Grannan), musicians and actors (Beck, Kumail Nanjiani, Sasheer Zamata), as well as a wide, eclectic group of emerging media makers.Check the current list of contributors to the Winter Issue here.
